The Wavestation is a pure synthesizer. It has no sequencer and no floppy drive. This synthesizer has a very typical sound and is easily recognizable in tunes. Its feature to arrange ROM samples in a row, defining a relative toneheight and duration for every sample in the sequence is unique to this instrument, it is called wavesequencing. This can be used to create weird sounding rhytmical sequences, or soft, changing synthplanes. I'd never give away this instrument, it's just too special. Drawbacks: 32 voices and no resonance in the filters. Words on the table below: I don't know how many MB the wavestation EX ROM has, hence the question mark.
